This is one of the few theme park rides at Sea World; please beware since there are only a few thrill rides at the park the lines tend to be quite long. The Sea World Journey to Atlantis takes guests aboard boats for an adventure to the lost city of Atlantis. Once they reach the lost city the riders are at the top of the Atlantis Mountain and then the fun begins with them a roller coaster ride of excitement as the boats scream down a steep downward slope.

There is a 42 inch minimum height requirement.

 

Age: Attraction Review: ages 2-4 Most young kids are too short to ride, or are terrified by the large drop. ages 5-10 If brave enough to face the 60 foot drop, most kids enjoy the attraction. ages 11-15 Most pre-teens and teens enjoy the ride, especially the exciting finale. ages 16-adult Most adults enjoy the ride, especially the exciting finale. senior citizens Some seniors dislike the large drop near the end of the attraction.

 

SeaWorld Tip

The best times to ride the Sea World Journey to Atlantis either the first hour the park is open or in the last two hours before park closing. During the middle of the day it is not unheard of to have an hour and half wait to ride this ride.
